330ml bottle from a holidaying friend. Pours hazy dark brown with a thick, persistent beige head. Aromas of yeast spice, coffee, liquorice and a hint of booziness. Kind of a Khalua thing going on. Taste is fruitier, prunes, more liquorice, then burnt toast on the finish. Roasty linger. Nice.

330ml bottle at home from trade with kermis. Thank you Chris! Dark brown almost black color with nice dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malty, lots of coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate. Sweet and bitter taste with some fruity notes addition. Almost medium oily body with average to lively carbonation. A very good coffee imperial stout! I would prefer less carbonation.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Thompson. Unclear red-brown color, average sized light brown head. Smell and taste malts, some roast, pretty bitter, dark chocolate, cocoa, chocolate bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Pretty nice imo.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased @ De Hopduvel. BBF 10/2017. Very dark brown, little disappearing thin mocha bubbles. Nose is herbal, weird lightly vegetable coffee, light liquorish sweetness, burned sugar, lightly vegetable roasted malts, cold coffee,… Maybe there is a bit age on this & coffee has started to turn a bit or the quality just might be not that great. Taste is bitter herbal, lightly vinous coffee, liquorish, herbal mild roasted malts, hazelnut milk & some herbs, cold herbal coffee, burned sugar,… I might have been spoiled recently with some really special coffee beers,… It isn’t bad but the coffee just has this liquorish, light vegetable, strong herbal quality or maybe that is the base beer a bit, some oily, umami quality,…. Reasonable body but not as thick as you would expect. Too high expectations really might be an issue here. Nope, I have seen & had way better in the coffee stout category,… Coffee is just not ideal here.
