Bottle thnx to Hopduvel Pours dark brown, rather small, and rather white foam . Smell is sweet, dark malts, some coffee aspects . Too much carbo . Roasted coffee ... Not really my thing, yet it IS actually nice .. I stand undecided wether to like this , or not . Its got both the awsome, and the bad ( to me ) coffee aspects ) . Bit bitter . good amount of taste, very coffee based . Nice .

Slick, very good cream-tan head over virtually black beer. Warm alcohol nose with lots of chocolate. Quite roasted and a tad of ashes/charcoal. Roasted/burnt - bitterish, but with a serious load of restsugars/sweetnes/ dark malts in the back. No hopbitterness to detect whatsoever. Alcohol enforces the sweet finish. Feels well-carbonated, but the head cannot be sustained long. Very slick and oily; quite well-bodied. Serious alcoholwarming, slighlty burning MF. Coffee appears mainly in the aftertaste. Good, but Scandinavian and American examples of I.S. usually show more panache.

4/I/14 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: XII/2016 (2014-15) Thanks to PriorL for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown beer, irregular beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: soapy, bit floral, very yeasty, some raisins, very sweet, herbal touch (thyme?). MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: grains, toast, very spicy, little sour, some overripe fruits, pretty hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: grains, some mocha, liquorice, coffee, bitter hops, spicy, thyme again and some caramel.
