FrankenBROWN was our maiden beer that we used to christen our long lusted for brewery. A high percentage of specialty grain brings the soul of malt, biscuit and coffee notes. The bitterness and aroma comes from a hit of hops added throughout the boil as well as dry hopping. 5.3% ABV makes for a beer that is right on.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is brown malts with chocolate, caramel, hoppy notes, some pine and fruits. Flavour is moderate bittersweet. Body is medium. Excellent all-round beer, solid Brown.

Blik 37,5cl thuis. IBU40. Citrus, hoppig, bittertonen, hop (Simcoe, Mosaic), caramel, koffietonen, wat rozijn, klein zuurtje, wat rood fruit, nutty, matig droog, licht roasted malts. (18-3-2022).

ABV: 5.3%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, tosted - roasted, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, light toasted - roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220107]
