(bottle from BWS Broadbeach) Pours clear copper with a tiny short lived white head and no lace. Aroma is caramel, toasted grain, biscuits, light pine and resin, just a hint of fruit. Flavour is similarly dominated by malty toffee, honey, lightly toasted bread, some citrus, leafy, pine needles. Finish is lightly bitter with some pine, leaf and pith character, slightly grainy nutty bread, lingering sweet malt. Medium bodied, average carb, it’s ok but it’s a really uninspiring use of great hops. Feels rather limp.

On tap at The Charming Squire, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and a little buttery quality. Flavour brings out floral and piney hops, backed by biscuity malt. Well-balanced and flavourful. It's not bad.

Bottle. Light citric and earthy nose Copper, low head Medium light body, ok chewiness Restrained well balanced, a bit too restrained really - when you work with these great hops they should get the opportunity to shine a bit more.

Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Hops of passionfuit/grapefruit. I really enjoy this beer. A nice aroma and spicy/citrus flavours. A good body and easy to drink

Bottle. Clear amber with a modest pale beige head. Aroma of passionfruit, boiled sweets, grapes, some herbal notes. A bit too fizzy for me. Some depth in the toffee flavours, there’s some herbal and grape notes and it’s a little toasty. Some tropical fruit emerges from the sweetness as moderate bitterness grips. Like the last one, probably caught this a bit late. But not bad.

Schooner on tap @ Civic Hotel, Sydney. Nose is fruit salad and caramel, very inviting. Golden copper beer with small solid white head. Lots of fine bubbles. Creamy texture, crisp fruity bitterness. Finish is cleansing grapefruit. Great beer.

From a 345ml bottle on 27/7/2015. Pours a dark golden, not far off amber with a medium head. The nose is sweet and fruity, with some floral and spicy notes. Flavour wise, you get sweet biscuity malt, a bit of caramel, sweet orange and peach, some nuttiness, and some moderate hops which linger slightly. The texture is a touch creamy and the carbonation average to lively. A solid, enjoyable APA, similar in quality to number 6.
