Keg at Leeds International Beer Festival. 4.0%. Cloudy straw colour. One of the brewers invited me to guess the herb in this. The nearest I got was fennel. (Well, thats what the missus thought). He then went on to say he wanted this to taste a bit like a red sauce. I thought, oh yeah, it does too. Slightly spicy, fruity. Good job. Except later his colleague said to me, "Bread sauce, not red sauce!". Iām not really cut out for this tasting lark...

330ml bottle, 4.1% abv, picked up at Sourced Market, St Pancras. Unclear, grey-yellow coloured body. Diminishing white head. Dark wheat and ginger on the nose. Herbs, dough and ginger flavours leading to a tart and wheat-like ending. Different but not so exciting (shared with Richard and Stefan, Leeds 01.07.2013).

330ml bottle. Cloudy ochre golden colour with average to huge, frothy, diminishing, white head. Citrusy and herbal aroma with bath salt character, notes of lavender, rosemary, thyme. Taste is dry to bitter, sourish, herbal notes are way more cautious. Hmmm...

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to Colin. It pours cloudy pale yellow with a medium white head. The nose is wheat, spice, chlorine, strong herbal notes and dough. The taste is wheat, lemon pith, herbal, weak spice and faint tartness with some bitterness in the finish Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty interesting and well executed.

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, from an offie in Hackney via Rilester, 20/01/13. Hazed light yellow with a white head that clears to edgeing and filmage. Nose carries herbs, clove, lemon, yeast, orange pith. Taste comprises light wheat, herbs, spice, citrus, bready notes, orange. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bittern notes in the finish. A really decent effort from a new brewery and lots of flavour for 3.4%!

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - big thanks to Colin for this brew. Pours lightly cloudy yellow with a fine, white cream head. Big herb nose. Medium sweet flavor with light yeast, more herbs, some wheat. Light in body with average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with lingering herbal bite. Very pleasant overall, though the character is somewhat mellow.
