22 oz. bottle from Oliver’s Beverage Center, Albany, NY. Nice deep mahogany color thin a tan head that retained well. Served at cellar temperature. Nose is chocolate, burnt sugar, cardamom spice and a very light citrus aroma. Tastes of candi sugar, orange peel, Belgian yeast and strong caramel flavors. Medium in body with light creamy, dry texture (if that makes sense). Overall decent and different.

Bottle - Chocolate, orange, yeast and booze. Jet brown with a little beige head. Chocolate, dark fruit, brown sugar and a sweet mellow finish. I don’t get any orange. An odd but good Belgian.

Hazy amber - red beer. No head. Semi soft palate, dry. Mild carbonated bite. Sweet malt with a touch of cream. Minerals and a whisper of orange. Subtle esters - banana and bubblegum. Finishes dry and creamy. Not sure what this is supposed to be but whatever it is - it falls short. Top marks for weirdest beer name though!

Thanks to Ben for hooking me up with this one! Pours a deep amber with with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a slight roasted malt with caramel and some candied sugar. Flavor is similar with some roasted malts and candied sugar with a hint of orange peel on the back on the tongue.
