We teamed up with our friends at Collective Brewing Project to create Minor Miner Grisette, a grisette-style ale aged in oak foeders with orange blossom and calendula flowers, inspired by traditional grisette beers enjoyed by industrial miners after a long day of labor. Though the environment of beer consumption has changed, this easy-to-drink beer still hits the spot when looking for a refreshing beer at the end of the day.

Bottle. Clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma of lime and oranges, mildly funky crackers. More body than expected, soft texture. Fruit, crackery dough, a little sourness. Well off dry and quite oaky at the end - neither of which were welcome. But the lurking basement funk and citrus are nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) Collective Brewing Project Minor Miner on 19 Jul 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Bottled, Adam Chandler on the share. Flavor of Pilsner malts, crackers. Lighter body with a Effervescent mouthfeel. Nice, dry crisp dry finish. Lots of flavor I don’t get the flower character. Still pretty good.

75CL acquired from Bruery RS. Split 3 ways. Pour a golden yellow with a 1 finger head. This smells really good. Lemon pie, honey , apple skin. Flavor has this mild unbelted lambic chalky medicinal flavor but overall, bright and juicy, nice citrus and oaky tannin. Juicy NZ Hop finish. Great for a hot day.

Bottle at BD Castlegate - thanks to Ken. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The aroma is musty, orange peel, kumquat, orange blossom, tangerine sherbet and funk. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, sherbet, lemony, grapefruit, minerals, light acidity and cloudy lemonade with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Bright and spritzy. Fun.

750 ml bottle poured into a tulip. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, spice, earthy, light Bretty notes. Tastes of light tartness, herbs, spice, orange citrus, lemon peel. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice.

Capped 750 from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a frothy white head. Complex aroma - oak, citrus, lime leaves, earth - possibly minor funk. :) Med body. Flavor is upfront citrus - lime leaves for me - with some musty/funky/oaky woodiness. Nicely dry. Very saison - except for the citrus, perhaps. Good flavor. Not extreme. It's hitting my pleasure buds the same way a Brett ale usually does. Not saying Brett here, but ... Very nice ale.
