Ein sehr schön suesses, malziges Bier. Schönes volles Aroma und dabei auch sehr schön sueffig. Im Antrunk und Hauptteil voll und gut. So gut wie gar nicht herb. Auch der Nachgeschmack bringt eine sehr schöne malzige Suesse mit und hält lange an. --> sehr zu empfehlen!!

Very sweet porter, tasted almost like liquorice water. Glad it was very cheap.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown body with a small beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malt ad coffee. Flavor is mild, sweet roasted malt, fruity and moderate bitter. Medium to thin body and short in aftertaste. Nothing compared to the big brother, still quite nice considering low alcohol.

Drought. Dark brown slightly hazy appearance, spongy amber-beige head, cocoa aroma, smooth cocoa-coffee taste, long finish. A very smooth porter.

En bra porter med tanke på alkoholhalt. Smak och doft av humle, malt, kaffe och toner av choklad och karamell. Fruktig, tunn kropp, med en enkel beska.

Appearance: Deep brownish color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Roasted malt and coffee.
Palate: Medium light body. Slightly sweet and moderate bitter. Dry texture.
Taste: Slightly sweet with dominant coffee and roasted malt.
Overall impression: A bit light otherwise ok. After an advice from Knut Albert, I use it for marinating beef.

Bottle at the Semi-Final Tasting, London. You’re all welcom. Pours clear brown with a fine, off-white head. Toasty malt nose, light milk chocolate notes. Mild sweet flavor with toasty malts, bread, some dusty dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sweet to finish with dry toast, light lactic sugars, toast, faint caramel. It’s a fine lower ABV beer.

Dark brown colour with an off-white head. Light burned malt aroma. Roasted malt taste with some chocolate.

A supermarket, of course: Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate. Taste is watered down chocolate. This ain’t bad. It tastes like a dark lager. I suppose it is exactly as good as it could have been.

Bottle at home from supermarket in Stockholm. Consumed on 12th July 2012. Pours deep brown with a pale brown disappearing head and no lacing. Sweet and earthy malts in aroma. Oatmeal notes and berry fruits, sweetish malts and touches of smoke in-mouth. Refreshing tangy berries in aftertaste. Zingy mouthfeel. Very enjoyable bottle.
