Aroma of biscuity malt, some caramel, earthy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Not much in the way of fruits, more of an earthy malty aroma. Carbonation is rather high. I’d say this is average at best, I like my APA a lot more fruity. Taking into account that I had an old bottle (well over a year old), I wouldn’t mind trying a fresher specimen one day.

December 2017. Big tasting at Višnja's Penthouse! Hazy amber, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, earthy, fruity, dried fruits, raisins. Dry, light bitterness. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Quite good, in style.

650 ml bottle from Canada Craft Beer Club. Malt characteristics are too heavy for style. Toffee all over the place. Hops are strong but somewhat very harsh and astringent. Good taste only. Style criteria are off. Bouteille de 650 ml. Les accents maltés ressortent clairement en olfactif. Des notes de caramel, de toffee, de jujube. Présence de houblons floraux. Ambrée et claire, elle se couvre d'une mousse de moyenne épaisseur, rocailleuse et assez persistante. L'entrée de bouche se développe tout en caramel, avec beaucoup de toffee. Vient ensuite la finale très astringente aux tons de résine, de terre et de fleurs. La finale est longue et tranchante. Le caramel, quoique délicieux au goût, est beaucoup trop intense pour le style.

Shared 355 ml can at local tasting. Amber colour. Aroma of piney hops, a hint of orange marmalade. Piney hops in the medium dry flavour too, again with a hint of oranges, but the finish is also piney.

0,35 boks fra Kihoskh, delt pĂĄ RBHD-samling hos Odd Gunnar, okt-17: lett uklar ravgylden med fint skum som varer. Appelsinmarmelade, rĂĄ mesk, vissen furunĂĄl og overmoden grapefrukt. A messy concoction.

Draft - Caramel and woody notes. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Caramel and woody bitter hops that have a dirty earthy notes.
