On tap at Manhattan. Pours golden with small white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and grain. Light body, grass, wet biscuit, crisp finish, very nice.

Hay, rice nose. Clear golden, medium head. Sweet malt, hay, rice, honey. Medium body, easy carbonation. An interesting take on a kolsch.

Draft at beer garden for a nice event they hosted. Gold brew with afrothy head. Nose and tastes grassy, bready and light florals. Refreshing and crisp. No probs here. Ordered a kolsch and received a kolsch
Great flavor forward kolsch, crisp and clean finish. Love the sweet upfront notes.

16 oz. Aroma is a little grassy, floral, bready. Pours lightly hazy golden with a half finger off-white foam with decent retention. Taste is lightly sweet with light bitterness, finishing dry. Crisp, clean and refreshing. One of those rare Kolschs that completely rise above normalcy and enter the realm of greatness.

Exhibit A Goody Two Shoes Kolsch 4.5% Golden cooor fizzy white foam that doesn’t linger with a grainy mildly herbal aroma with a very mild lemony tang. Light bodied crisp and refreshing. Quite solid, less hoppy than Fort Point’s KSA.

Can, from Malt & Mold. Pours faintly cloudy pale yellow with large foamy whitish head, sweet malt aroma low carbonation, medium sweet malty taste with light grassy hops, thin body, medium finish. Not bad.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is clear, pale yellow with nice, lazy sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with fair retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is mild tart and funk. Taste is tart, yeasty but good balance with the pilsner malts. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a nice representative of the style.
