Not bad, not great. Kind of a cross between a British IPA and an American IPA. Poured with a cream colored foamy frothy head that dies down to a scummy thin cover and some lace. Color is a clear light to medium colored amber. Aroma is light hop with malt and a bit of caramel. Flavor is a mildly assertive, somewhat piney hop and some malt and caramel. Body is decent with good carbonation. Finish is like flavor with the pine standing out along with a little caramel.

12 ounce can, 3/29/20. Bad advice in the time of COVID19. Hazy amber, large foamy beige head, good retention. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, dank, pale malt. Taste is dank, lemon, grapefruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, well balanced, and, yes, old school. Nice beer.

12oz bottle picked up at Best Western in Madison
Pours clear dark golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. When I cracked the tip I could smell skunky beer. But after I got it in a glass it mellowed out some but it's still skunky. The flavor is better, pale malts, wet grains and resin
Old school bitter ipa.

12oz bottle pours a mostly clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has orange, some tomato, passion fruit, hand soap. Flavor is boozy and spicy, some habanero, pink peppercorn, pine. Finishes a bit hot. What is this?

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Some floral and resin notes emerge in the taste, but mostly citrus in the form of grapefruit rind and bitter lemon peel.

Bottle. Pours a deep golden haze with a fair white head. Aroma is off-putting; sour rotten peaches comes to mind. Taste is light grainy malts & resin-like bitterness. Light body and soft carbonation. This beer simply does not taste very good to me.

A golden IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, clover honey and floral hops, faint, but nice. In mouth, a light bodied yet nice IPA with grassy floral hops, decent. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow orange with particulate floaties. Large creamy white head that dissipates slowly leaving clumpy lacing. Aroma is grain corn syrup, and resin. Flavor is about the same, medium sweet, lightly bitter. Medium light body. Taste was more like a slight hoppy lager. I can only assume that this sat on the shelves a while, but as-is it was not good.
