Gold color with a thick white head that laces the glass. Light hops aroma. Flavor has some sweet malt but also lots of sweet citrus and bread dough. Full flavored, but an astringent aftertaste.

Clear light amber or nice copper glowing body with a hint of an orange tint and a thick, seven centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of malt, yeast, bread, hop pellets, grass, hay and a bit of an earthy note. Medium-bodied; Nice bright light hops at first with a bit of a bready/yeast note then a grassy, herbal hoppy flavour at the end. Aftertaste is relatively mild with the herbal flavours coming out and not much of the hops and hardly any malt. Overall, perhaps a bit too watery and not enough flavours, definitely not enough complexity for the style. Still, nice to try from Wisconsin and worth trying if you aren’t from the area. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trig’s Cellar 70 in Minocqua, Wisconsin on 28-July-2012 for US$1.65 sampled at home in Washington on 09-October-2012.

Courtesy of Oddefellowe. Pours gold with a bit of haze and white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and earthiness and then it grows into a mild level of spicy hops. The taste is grainy and then moving toward earthy hops and growing spicy hops along with a touch of citrus. This has a nice mix of fresh hops that lean firmly into hop bitterness but with only slight amounts of hop flavor and it creates a brew that is askew from the standard for the style. Nice stuff. The elevated level of bitterness really works for me.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt and lots of hops as well as lighter notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrus, leading to a dry, strawy, and hoppy finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Draft at The Old Fashioned. Hazy orange-tan color. Thin head. Earthy hop aromas and flavor tones. Pleasant citrus hoppy character. Easy drinking, with lots of English IPA touches. Lemony sour biscuit malt. A very nice, sessionable IPA, somewhat creamy.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange with a creamy white head. Peachy and orange fruity hops aroma. Flavour acidic and hoppy in a nice solid way - holds a mild caramel malt base yet the hoppy flavours seem quite refreshing and smooth without much caramel malt base.
