On tap at A l'limage de Notre Damme, Brussels. Dark brown, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is caramely, toasty and brown bread. No acidity. Sweet, no real counterbalance. Flavours are bready, caramely, somewhat fruity. Medium body, slightly sticky, nice drinkability. Soft texture. A blend didn't result with a wanted style but not a bad beer nonetheless.

From the bottle. Auburn with a frothy off white crown. Aroma of fruit jam with a hint of toast and chocolate. Taste is sweet, a touch syrupy, full of fruit pop undertones, with a tartness that verges on sour at the finish. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate. Overall too many artificial sweet notes to keep me interested.

Bottle at home. Pours clear mahagony brown with beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark bread, nuts, roasted malt, cherries, honey. Taste sweet with a little fruitiness and a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Smell - weak, quite nonspecific. Foam - quite large, soft, little creamy, but to the thin side, some fruit sweetness and maybe sourness at start. light brown. Taste - fruity , juicy type, some sweetness some background sourness, but barely noticeable, citrus. Appearance - clear red amber. In general I am not fan of sour beers, but as sourness here is almost non existent, its ok

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma media grana cappuccino media persistenza, color mogano limpido, al naso caramello frutta matura prugna sciroppata e leggero passito, in bocca è vinosa ciliege passito frutta rossa, corpo rotondo, acidità perfetta che la rende piacevole, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro leggero. La mi prima di questo stile. Devo dire che non è male. Buona! 31.08.18
