Dark brown/black colour, beige foam. Roasty with sweet vanilla notes. Not very well balanced.

Too much cocos for me... Bounty all the way with this one. Well made though.

Pours a lighter viscosity black, with a small tanned head. Scent is roasty, hint of red fruits (raspberry) , hidden hints of almond ? Taste is roasty, coconut (clearly), making me gravitate towards Tonka ? Medium thin bodied, medium high carbo. bit bitter. More than decent !

16/VII/22 - 33cl can from La Source webshop, shared @ home, BB: 21/VI/23 (2022-884)
Clear dark brown to almost black beer, big fizzy aery crackling head, dissipates rather quickly, non adhesive, very weird behaviour for a head of an 11% stout... MF: soft to no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, lots of dark chocolate, some coconut, dark caramel. Aftertaste: coconut, caramel, alcohol, chocolate, soft acidity, good roast, some maple syrup, hint of cinnamon and gingerbread, bitter finish.

Draft sample @ Swafff! 2022 - shared with the Gentse Bierverniging team.

At the opening party of the brewery, there were just too many beers to try all by myself—especially since they were all served in 25 cl—so I decided to take the strongest one of the lot home. I’m so glad I did…

Tap at the brewery opening. Whoa! Fuckloads of chocolate cocoa flavours going on, really assertively. Caramel, toffee, chocolate, life is great. This beer is great. Great.
