An unusually pale and clear body for a quad, with a lated white head. Nose features banana, sweet malt and fruity yeast esters. A balanced but relatively understated taste profile with a range of tropical fruit, banana, melon, sweet malt and Belgian yeast.

Arômes: Houblons herbacés, pain frais. Aspect fruité de la levure. Jujubes.

Growler: Poured a nice clear golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of rose water with fruity ester, candi sugar and some lightly peppery yeast notes. Taste is overly dominated by rose water notes with some fruity ester, too much candi sugar and some light peppery yeast notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. OKish but too sweet and too perfumy for my taste.

Bottle received from Winter Santa 2013/2014. Thank you pushkinwow! Pours hazy yellowish golden with a rather big frothy and fizzy white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny fruity and slightly spicy with white bread, lemon juice, baked pears, hay, dry soil, alcohol, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny sour and slightly phenolic with white bread, plums, grapes, lemon juice, moist hay, dry soil, pear skins, apple skins, white pepper corns, minerals and alcohol. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sour and slightly phenolic with white bread, lemon juice, hibiscus, hay, dry soil, lemon zest and pears skins. Ok…

A hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, very fruity malt with banana esters, cloves, alcohol warmth, not bad. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with ripe bananas, fruity esters, alcohol warmth, OK. On tap at Winterbrewed 2014.
