On tap at Moeder Lambic St Gilles, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of brett, dank earthy notes, and dark fruity citrusy notes. Flavour is yeasty and sludgy, with an earthy yeast soup that dominates. Really amateur brett beer. Not very good.

On tap. Pours a dark amber/orange with moderate head. Aromas of peaches, Brett, and toasted malts. Flavors of stoned fruit, dark marmalade, and sweet malts. Smooth. Very nice.

Draught Very good, cream-coloured head over hazy amber beer, leaving textbook lace. Sweet-malty nose, insofar the huge head isn’t hampering), mop-variety Bretts. Malty-bitter and spiced, but especially Brett-induced. Not, unfortunately, the best Bretts. No real sweetness, but still malty notes in the mouth. Medium bodied, slick to oily and quite carbonated feel. Bretts- yes they’re here. As to the rest, remains pretty average.

Cloudy, light brown. Quite a tart aroma. Typical Bretty taste, light sourness and yeast. Overall a bit thin and watery.

4/I/14 - 75cl bottle from Horeca Expo @ home - BB: n/a (2014-11) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear red amber beer, big aery yellowish head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: funky and brett stuff all right, woody notes, lemony, bit soapy, dry, dusty as well. Meh, not bad, but not the typical geuze aroma. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sour start, pretty bitter after that first sour impression, grapefruit peel, some tangerines. Aftertaste: little sour and funky, bitter, pretty weird, some overripe fruits, tannins, wood notes, hoppy bitterness.
