Draught at Moeder SG. It pours clear amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, doughy, earthy brett and touch of spice. The taste is bitter, big brett action, stewed orange, marmalade, light alcohol, funk, hay with a dry, earth and a touch of sherbet with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Mighty delicious!

330ml bottle, thanks to JefVerstraete. Pours amber with big frothy white head. Nice sweet / spicy aroma. Taste is brett-tastic, lots of funk and spice before settling into sweet triple territory. Very enjoyable this.

From tap. Pours hazy ornge with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted and fruty dark malty. Dry and toasted malty. Bitter and wlight herbal. Dry finish.

7th Feb 2015 at the Brugge Beer Festival. Amber bodied brew with a thin topping. Brett means Brett, not sour: right? Well this was semi-sour and I didn’t take to it at all. Dark fruits and a malty underbelly couldn’t turn it around for my senses: a wrong choice when there were so many fabulous beers around.

Brown color with a light tan head with medium duration. Aroma has notes of wood mild sourish and light caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet, notes of red fruits, tarty and sourish mouthfeel with some vinour hints. Slightly sourish final with light wooden notes.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 22 Oct 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots, orange peel and a touch of wild yeast. Fruity, malty taste with dried fruit, orange peel, apricots and spicy hints of brett. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness and a balanced citric bitterness. Tasty and well balanced with a spicy touch. Quite nice.

0,33 bottle consumed in Kosovo, courtesy of markoijelena with huge thanks. Pours a very nice reddish dark-amber color similar to red vinegar, cloudy appearance with an unexpected tick beige foamy head. Nose gives a light acetic note, wet leaves, barrel wood and a hint of red fruit under spirit. Mouth: a bit watery considering the 7,5% but nice enough. Balanced sourness, some swet notes here and there and all in all a good beer.

Keg at Chez Moeder Lambic St. Gilles - Brussels. Poirs mostly clear copper-amer with a large, frothy off-white head. The nose gives off some suggestions of brett, with slight dry leaves, grass, some melon. Light-medium sweet flavor with notes of grapefruit, light tangy berries, earth, beat-up leather, nectarine. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Lightly drying to finish with some wood and leather, with frther notes of warming alcohol, ripe citrus, mellow brett funk, pine needlea. An interesting beer. Not bad.

Nose is huge dellcious candy, sweet, brown sugar; Taste is same, sweet candy, cinnamon, spices, cookies, brown sugar, faint cherry & touch herbs. Light caramel body. Candy sugar, dried red fruits, raisins, touch Pumpernickel mixed with thinning brett. Quite interesting. Taste is an interesting mix of BE candy sugar profile, thinned out & mixed with brett + dried red grapes, raisins, red fruits, minor funk, faint bread, touch sweet herbs, faintly bitter in the back. Touch thinned out body but still pretty interesting. Pretty interesting & fun stuff here. (07.05.2017) Draft glass @ Caulier 28 bar. Dark amber, lacing off-white head. Nose is huge toffee, dark fruit, overripe mango, marmelade & brett mixed in thick, cookie-like. Taste is tasty marmelade, dark fruits with frunk, overripe fruit, good soap, caramel, bret,... Very thick. Fascinating. Really nice.
