Sampled @ KBF 2016, Essen. Somewhat unclear red-brown color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, caramel, brown candy sugar. Taste malts, brown candy sugar, caramel, sweet, lightly alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite nice.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and slight caramelish. Breadish and roasted malty. Bitter, dark malty and chocolate. Breadish. Roasted and dark malty finish.

Sampled at BAB 2016. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours rather clear, caramelly brown, small to no white head. Smell is bit sweet, caramel. Taste is sweet, caramel, but no real depth or complexity. Meh

06/02/2016 sample @ BAB shared with tderoeck, 77ships, kradel, ... Redelijk brown, no head. Ripe fruits, dark malts, caramel, licorice, ... typical tastes and moreover or was prettig flat.

Sampled @ Bierfestival Brugge 2016. Thank you for sharing! Reddish dark brown with an off-white head. Nose is cloves, gravy, licorice, molasses, spices, herbs, sugar. Taste is licorice red wine leaves, gum drops, heavy licorice, herbal, umami, spices,… Body is think licorice, gravy. Taste is really heavy Belgian licorice & herbal. Excess of not the finest of overly common Belgian characteristics. Meh.

Sampled at Brugge beer festival 2016. Clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, caramel, malt and toffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
