Bouteille 37.5cl, obtenue via échange il y a plusieurs années - déjà ouverte et dégustée à plusieurs reprises.
Couleur pourpre profond, huileux collant au verre avec ce filament acajou tenace sur les rebords.
Arôme est intense au niveau des baies – ici une bonne grosse dose de framboise noire (qui sont assez difficiles à trouver, selon la description, personnellement je n’en ai jamais vu. Petite douceur organique du miel qui arrive en retrait – aussi sur le côté framboise, un léger fruité rappelant la prune confite voire les cassis. En tout cas, clairement une baie noire acidulée.
Palais est fortement axé sur le fruité sublimé par l’apport du miel – purée de framboise noire, fine acidité et un caractère léger madérisé. Les 14% sont tout de même bien présents avec en retrait une petite touche poivrée noire. Sirupeux et collant aux lèvres. Avec les années, ce breuvage ne démérite pas.

Flaska från staterna, osäker på batch men troligtvis b7. Mörk rödlila. Vinös i färg och doft. Stor, fyllig och bärig och samtidigt som det är stramt och jordigt. Intensivt bärigt med mycket hallon med en väldigt stram, jordigt och nästan torr och bitter avslutning. Lite tuffare och svårare för en Schramm’s, men gott.

375ml (thx, Alex J. B.!) shared with Farees @ Ryan's. Appearance: very dark purple. Aroma: loooads of of blackberries and perfumy honey. Taste: very sweet with a shitload of multi-layered raspberries and noticeable honey. Overall: very nice.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Very dark purple with no head. Lots of black raspberry, quite jammy, honey, almost vinous-like, very nice.

EB. Such an amazing presentation of a drier mead. Intense blackberry/raspberry compote with supporting floral and slightly citrus zesty honey. Off-dry with perfectly balanced acidity and tannins. Not many meadmakers can pull off something like this.

Bottle. Pours deep dark red, still. Notes of black raspberries, light acidity, honey, extremely astringent, green, dry finish. Something mustve been off with this one. Sadly.

Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours a deep purple with no head whatsoever. Aroma has sweet black raspberry with a hint of tartness and dry honey underlying. Flavor has dry honey and tart blackberry with a bit of sweetness supporting.

Bottle at share. Violet, dark purple. Full 8fruity, jelly aromas. Taste is fruity, berries, lots of boozy notes, full bodied. Really nice feel.
