500ml bottle, from trade with AshtonMcCobb. Many thanks. Pours murky brown, thin off-white head. Aroma is smoky bacon, malt, caramel. Taste is smooth, smoked malts.. not getting a lot of Juniper, I guess that’s open to interpretation. I do love a nice smoked beer tho, and this hits the spot

[9/26/15] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Cloudy orange. Aroma of malt, fruitiness, a bit of spiciness. Sweetish flavor with malt, smoke, light spiciness. Medium-bodied, over-carbonated.

Almost clear amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with good fine carbonation. Sweet caramel malts and sweet bubblegum ester. Trace of apple. Fair dose of smoke. More esters in the dry finish. Clunky and not very palatable.
