Pours clear and yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma contains malt, yeast, orange, honey, butterscotch, herbs and spices. It tastes medium malty sweet and medium spicy bitter; the finish spicy and alcoholic. Medium body, slick texture and fizzy carbonation. Actually not that honey-like, and there's too much ABV for its style. Okay.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25C, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L19102017, AROMA: a predominant honey aroma with a faint malty-sweet grainy background and peppery phenols. APPEARANCE: gold color and translucent. medium-low white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: predominant honey flavor, with a faint cereal-sweet malty background and a slight peppery note. medium-low to low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium carbonation with medium-low body. faint alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a very interesting belgian golden strong ale, with a honey touch.

Szép nagy hab, ami fél perc alatt fél centire apad, ez viszont már sokáig megmarad. Finom fűszeres illat, amiből határozottan kitűnik a méz, gyenge narancsos beütéssel. Gyönyörű borostyánsárga színe van. Határozottan testes sör, mégis nagyon itatja magát. Ízében is az édeskés, mézes jelleg a domináns. A háttérben persze ott a komló fűszeressége, ami a közepesen hosszú utóízben kicsit erőteljesebben megjelenik, egy gyenge keserűsséggel egyetemben.
