Held up well since 2018. The chocolate is still packing, tiny bit of oxidation that wafts away, some licorice upfront, nice barrel still. Vanilla might be long gone or tobacco-ish. Great age, thanks G C.

Draught @ MBCC'18 [ Red Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Alvarado Street Dark Libations ]. Clear dark black brown colour with virtually no beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate chocolate, chocolate - bourbon - vanilla - barrel, light coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, dusty, roasted, bread, dark fruit, chocolate - bourbon - vanilla - barrel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20180512] 7-3-8-4-15

Tap@MBCC 2018 Red Session, Copenhagen - pours dark brown verging black with a tan head. Roasted and sweet dark malty with decadent rich chocolate, some caramel and toffee sweetness, burnt charred dark malty nuances, some vanilla and bourbon infused wooden accents coalesce into the dark malty finish.

MBCC 2018. Red. Pedal to the Metal session. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, no head. Smooth dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Bitter dark chocolate and tangy dark fruits. Dry spicy finish leaves a warming linger. Tidy boozy impy.
