Can: Poured a light clear amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of light piney hoppy notes with light spicy rye notes. Taste is also dominated by light piney hoppy notes with dry rye note with light grainy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK but there is really nothing memorable here.

Single can from the LCBO. Pours a clean deep amber colour with a big warm cap, great retention and lots of fluffy thick and creamy lace. Rye malt nose with some spices and hints of farm smell. Medium-bodied with a slick mouthfeel. The taste is well-balanced between the hoppy bitterness of grass and the roasted-nutty malts. Their third brew and the best so far. A very nice roasted rye pale ale.

A copper amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty caramel malt with light grassy floral hops, treacle and rye, nice. In mouth, a nice smooth caramel malt with light nutty notes, grassy hops, light resinous character, OK. Can from LCBO.

This one poured a deep amber colour with a creamy/foamy, off white head. Scents include citrus, spruce, bread and spice. First swig was quite creamy with a load of medium level of IBU’s. Flavours of spruce hops and a little caramel are most predominant. Finish is quite bitter with flavours of spruce lingering.

Pours light orange with some head and lacing. Nice rye malt here, always enjoy it. Hops adds some citrus, this is fresh and well done. Tap at Loose Moose.
