Can: Poured pitch-black color stout with a thin dark brown foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of acid notes with some chocolate malt and hot whiskey notes. Taste is a hot mess of alcohol, notes with aspen acid and acidic notes over chocolate malt notes. Body is thin with low carbonation and some discernible alcohol. Total drainpour, it had been a while since I got such a bad one.

Poured from 473mL can (ABV listed at 8%). Dark brown with minimal off white head. Lots of vanilla, some whiskey, mild chocolate notes, alcohol mostly hidden. Has some nice flavours, but not especially robust in complexity.

Has a nice beige head and darker brown body. Aroma is lots of vanilla and some wood notes. Flavour is smooth barley, soft whisey notes and lots of vanilla. Smooth finish again. Quite a nice mix here, well balanced, not boozy at all.
