Born of the sun this unfiltered wheat ale has long been praised by the Belgians and revered by the French. Our dreamy Blanchè beer is silky smooth and subspiced with orange peel, coriander and anise seed to pair perfectly with the golden days of summer.

Part of a flight at the brewery/taproom on Thursday June 18, 2015.Murky yellow color, white head. Phenolic clove, some estery banana taste. Phenolic aftertaste. Medium though to the side Co2 mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Banana, some smoke (phenolic) scent.

Draft - Fruity, light banana and some herbal notes. Cloudy light yellow with a decent white head. Estery Belgian yeast and light wheat notes. Nothing special.

Tap at the brewery. Anise and citrus nose Pale hazy neon yellow, low white head Medium light body, sparkly mouthfeel Too much anise for my taste, leaves me with a medicinal note. Sorry Sunshine you deserve better:(

On tap at the brewery. A super cloudy light honey gold, mild coriander, celery salt, aniseed & orange zest a restrained balanced aroma compared to Steamworks overdone wit. The same rough carbonation, it must be the water. It has very sharp CO2. The taste is good, balanced witbier spices, citrus & wheat. Really nice wheatiness to it. Lovely. —-2022 can from Lopia in Kyoto—— I actually had the chance to visit their brewery in Vancouver when they were pretty new. 33 Acres of Sunshine French Blanche 5% Very pale straw gold with eggshell white foam and a nice spicy coriander and wheat aroma. Light bodied with a crisp finish. This is a very enjoyable and satisfying Belgian wit, especially on a hot day like today.

Hazy light yellow with a big head. Aroma is a bit musty, taste malty, then tart then back to a malty/spicy finish with a shot of alcohol. Herbal character in there a bit as well.

Murky blond color with generous creamy head. The aroma is delicate, with some spices and fruits, but also lightly feety. Smooth mouthfeel, dryish; very light bready flavor with timid spices and even less fruits; correct bitterness. Overall it delivers a fresh impression.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out big notes of citrus, a little coriander, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is very refreshing, full of bright citrus notes upfront, followe by a small hint of coriander, a little banana, and Belgian yeast. Very vibrant, full of citrus. Carbonation is medium to lively, bringing out the flavours well. For a generally boring style, this is very well-made and refreshing on a hot day. Good stuff.
