Horny Devil is our interpretation of a Belgian-style Golden Ale. Brewed with authentic Belgian ingredients including candi sugar and a Trappist yeast strain, its fruity and spicy aromas include notes of orange, banana, and peppercorns. Coriander seeds add refreshing citrus notes which meld seamlessly with the beer’s delicate malt. Horny Devil finishes with a lively carbonation and a refreshingly dry finish.

Draught at the brewery. Almost clear golden liquid with small to medium white head. Aroma of coriander, banana, clove, lemons, wheat and cereal. Balanced. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of fruit, banana and coriander. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation.

75cl Bottle at WWT. Gusher. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of spices, ripe fruits, malts, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, spicy, alcohol, light bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. Expected a bit more of this.

Bottle shared at beer temple. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, spice and fruit. Flavour has same aspects, a little sour, mild bitter. Medium bodied and low to medium carbonation.

A golden beer with a big and white head. Aroma is fresh and fruitfull, citrusfruits, spicyness, oranges even some parfume; aromatic and inspirating aroma. Taste is fruitfull and spicy, peppers, some warming alcohol, yeast. Medium bodied, lots of carbonation, but it nicely lighthten to body. Aromatic and tastefull beer, however, taste is slightly tense and sharp and simple, fruitfull and strong beer.

Bottle enjoyed while procrastinating packing for vacation. Pours hazy orange with enormous white fluffy head that stays and stays. Nose of candy sugar and wheat. Tastes yeasty, coriander, pepper, citrus, vanilla, banana, hops, and light wood. Some alcohol and bitterness. Quite nice

Bottle in AZ. Mostly clear, peachy orange appearance with a carbonated white head the dissipates quickly. Citrusy, coriander, orange, lemon, sweet/sugary, Belgian yeasty, fairly dry aroma. Rich candy sugar, spicy coriander, thick orange/lemon citrusy, tangy, dry flavor.

Fruchtiger, sehr heller Beginn mit trockenen Zitrusnoten. Süß bleibend, der Alkohol ist erkennbar. Deutliche Kräuternoten, dann hefig-dunkel. Nun deutlich alkoholischer werdend. Ein in weiten Teilen übertriebenes Bier. 11/9/11/9/13/9

Bottle from Brewdog online store. It pours golden yellow, with a massive white head. The nose is sweet fruit (particularly pear), sweet malt, ginger, spice and alcohol. The taste is sweet ripe fruit: pear, melon, banana and apple, as well as herb, spice, ginger and grass, with a warming, spicy finish. Medium-full body, high carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Too sweet and boozy for me.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours slightly hazy light golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, citruss, peach. Taste is yeasty, citruss, peach, sweets, light spicy and perfume notes. Medium body, very high level of carbonation with loads of fine bubbles. 230911
