Blonde, 5,5% abv, hazy and opalescent, creamy head. Her nose is a mix of citrus fruits and flowers - thanks to the use of ‘forgotten’ hop varieties, grown with love in the south of Germany - with a note of ripe pear. It develops flavours of citrus, bergamot and kumquat, as well as notes of rustic cereals (spelt, wheat, and rye) and wild flowers. Its final is very dry, as the style wants it. A real thirst-quencher!

Süffiger, leider auch wässriger Beginn. Noten von Brett, moderate Herbe, erstaunlich wenig hefig. Leicht bitter, kurzer Abgang. Ok.. 9/7/7/7//7

Bottle: Poured an orangey/light amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of lightly fruity Brett notes with some funky ester and floral notes. Taste is a nice mix of lightly Brett notes with some light fruity notes with some funky notes and a dry finish with nice floral notes also perceptible. Body is full with great carbonation. Solid saison with great complexity and also some great drinkability.

@home poured into a tumbler. Misty yellow golden colour, good moussy white head, lasts for a while, thin white layer remains, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, gooseberries, yeast, spicy notes. Fresh taste, light sweet and below medium bitter, malty, lemon peel, grassy, yeast, spicy notes, subtle salty touch. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, hoppy, spiciness that lingers on, peppery on the tongue, crisp, well-made and good saison.

O:6.1 V:3.85 G:7.2 C:3.75 G:13.7 T:34.6

10 months old and still great. Classic saison with a bit more modern citrusy hops. Nice underlying funk, deep dankness in the malt and yeast. Online saveurbier
