Bottle. (as Old Buccaneer Reserve) Hazy, golden-orange body and a white head. Spiced and fruity, mostly orange and lemon, with some alcohol. Sweet flavor as well, some alcohol, spices, fruits and some grain. Full body. Long, sweet and fruity finish with a little spiced touch. Dangerously easy to drink. Nice. (070528)

Bottle: Poured a light golden amber with white head. The aroma was sweet floral fruit. The taste was sherry like with lots of alcohol taste.

Bottle. Syrupy sweet orange and apple aroma with strong alcohol nose. Cloudy light yellow with moderate head. Sharp acidic bite initially followed by a sweet dried apricot, white pepper, and citrus hops flavor. Slightly on the dry side.

BB 29/3 -06.: Cloudy golden with a wonderfull thick white head . Aroma and taste of yeast/fruit & alcohol. Filling body which has a warmth from alcohol - pleasant. Soft mouthfeel. Malty sweetness. Nice long lasting hoppy finish! Tasted this at Bruggs Bertje 18 month ago, and tasted it for the 2nd time today. Still Brilliant!

Bottled(330ml). –Shared with Doggythedog at the Hopdevil in Zagreb
Clear golden coloured, huge white head, lively carbonation, dusty white wine nose. Aroma is malty, faint hoppy and slight spicy with very odd and unpleasant frozen meat touch. Certainly better than Dubbel .

Bottle shared with ozujsko at the Hopdevil in Zagreb After tasting the dubbel I didn’t have high hopes for this one. It poured a huge white fluffy head on top of a clear golden coloured body, with lively streams of carbonation all around. The nose was very faint, just some hints of dust and white wine. The taste was... well, better than the other two beers I’ve had before that one. Niceish maltiness that turns to a dull, slightly acidic end, a bit grainy, somewhat fruity, a faint touch of sulphur, quite tingly on the tongue, crude hoppy aftertaste and all in all, a substandard tripel.

Pours a bright gold into a tulip. Significant microhead flows up in a cone -- turns soap-bubbly in appearance as it gradually subsides. Bread and hay notes. Fizzy and dry with some lemon and apple -- a lasting alcoholic finish.

Pale gold, large white head.Fruity nose. Effervescent, somewhat watery fruity flavor, surpisingly, no alcohol heat....Rather bland, not what I expected
