The American Wheat Ale is firmer and hoppier than the average wheat ale. It is fresh but smooth too and it has a refreshing, soft bitterness to it. Credit is due to the Mosaic and Galaxy hops there, which also provide the fruity tones of orange and mango. Fruit of the collaboration: beautiful wheat beer with a bite.

Clear pale golden color with a fine white head. Leaves a fine lacing on the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric hoppy, wheat and fruity flavor. Nice refreshing and tasty beer.

Keg at Craft Clerko. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is bread, wheat, cereal, wheat, light barnyard and some creamy butter. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, cracker, wheat, bread, some creaminess and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent bready beer, but no game changer.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours totally clear, yellow-gold, effervescent, with a frothy, pure white head. Pleasant citrus hop aroma, some grapefruit, lemon rind. Light to medium sweet flavour with a clean pale wheat bread character, juicy grapefruit, melon, tangerine, lemon, mild bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with more juicy hop character, citrus fruits, balancing wheaty sugars, just a little bitter straw and grass. Overall, wonderful stuff. Hugely drinkable.
