On tap at Vrteška. Almost black dark brown body with a tiny tan head. Chocolate liqueur aroma, smooth chocolate, but excessive alcohol too. Alcohol dominates the taste too, oily, light chocolate, a citric touch. I mean, the flavors that come out are certainly nice at times, but this is way too alcoholic most of the time, which is a turn-off for me. Sorry, I respect it, I like some of the flavors going on, but it just doesn’t suit me.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma media color cappuccino. Al naso note di cioccolata, caffè, liquirizia, anice stellato, fantastica. In bocca è ricchissima, complessa e rotonda, dolce con finale amaro a bilanciare. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Forse un po’ cafona, ma lascia il segno. Che birra!

Many thanks for this 330ml bottle to Eric De Geyter. Piana srednia i srednio trwala, bezowa, kolor ciemno brazowy niemal czarny, geste i nie przezroczyste. Metnosc spora, blotnista. Aromat zlozony, ciemne owoce, borowka, ciemne winogrona i aronia. Smak poczatkowo za mocne uderzenie slodyczy, rodzynki, sliwki w czekoladzie, trufle, pierniki Norymberskie. Po czym pojawia sie chmielnosc i wytrawnosc mimo slodyczy ktora sie przygasza i pojawia sie w podniebieniu trwajaca goryczka, do tego wzbogaca to i przedluza alkoholowe cieplo, rozgrzewajace. Przy czym alkohol w smaku zupelnie zerowy. Klasa i umiejetnosc warzenia. Polecam

Bottle 330ml. @ Hotel Room, Amsterdam, Netherlands. [ As De Dochter van de Korenaar Sans Pardon ].Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, bread. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted, bread, cake. Bottle at the December THT. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, dry coffee, sweet toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth liquorice malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at THT. Very dark brown with beige head. Lots of coffee, dark chocolate, light grass, toffee, licorice, roasted malts. There’s some light tannic notes which I guess is the Rooibos. Lots of nice chocolate but the Rooibos is not really me thing I guess. Medium sweet, and medium tannic bitter. Over medium bodied.

Tap at LuppoloStation in Rome-Italy. Black pour, brownish foam. Nose: dark chocolate, a weird note of root, vanilla. Nice. Mouth: rich and easy, which in my opinion is a big plus for an imperial stout. Liquor of cherry and chocolate. Good really good.
