Classic heavy bittersweet ‘Imperial Stout’ with a touch of ‘Rooibos’, 11% vol.
Sans Pardon is one of the toughest full malt beers from the brewery. Black as the night, with a creamy head. The high alcohol content complements the coffee and chocolate aspects in the beer. The ‘Rooibos’ gives the beer that extra touch of fruitiness. Sans Pardon the tastiest.

Bottle. Beer Mania, Brussels. Clear, dark, cola brown. Glossy topped, tan head, made up of fairly loose, noisy bubbles. Nose has red wine like, vine fruits. Spent coffee grinds. Woody and earthy. Taste has vine fruit pip bitterness. Bit of a tang. Quite smooth mouthfeel. A little thin, given the ABV and style. A bit fizzy. Roast coffee bitterness to finish.

Pours bit hazy dark brown. Not that you can really see that because it’s kind of dark. Aroma has chocolate, soft Belgian yeast and little booze. Taste is full of dusty cocoa, chocolate and bitter cocoa. Smooth, milk chocolaty. Drinks easy and feels much lighter than its abv would suggest.

On tap at Vrteška 2017, shared with Višnja 666! Black, small tan head. Dried fruits, roasty, light chocolate and figs. Moderately dry, alcohol present. Light body for a 11%, average carbonation, light finish. Not impressed.
