Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Clear red russet orange thin white head. Is that coconut and vanilla I can smell. Some hop some sweetness. Great in mouth. Wow I love both this and the regular one. Not hot in any way. Good full malty flavour. Good hop good coconut milk. Just lovely.

Bottle, shared at the Kernel. It pours hazy amber with a medium white head. The nose is earth, wood, sweet toffee, whisky, brown sugar, dried fruit and some alcohol. The taste is oily, honeycomb, butterscotch, wood, orange, tangerine, sherbet, light spice and brown sugar. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Not quite as bitter as the non-BA version. I probably prefer the regular version, but only slightly. Still pretty tasty.

Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy amber colour. Thick, tight, off white, lasting head. Good looking beer. Aroma of tinned mandarin, light muscovado sugar. At a guess this has been in whisky barrels. An alcohol warmth is very much in evidence. Taste has a butterscotch sweetness, with a dry, but not bitter, black pepper finish. Lovely.
