Bottled. An unclear yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of lemons and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of phenols, lemons, straw, and straw fruits, leading to a biter finish.

330ml bottle from Borough Wines. Not a bad attempt at a Belgian style. Slightly tangier with a sharper tartness, but with a nice fragrant character. Not quite on the mark for me but a good effort.

Bottle at home from the brewery, 26/10/13 as *4AD ! Pours clear golden with a good sized off white head which retains well, plenty of bubbles dancing around in the glass. Nose is bready malt, citrus, yeast esters, caramel, light spice and straw, dark fruits, light citrus. Taste comprises dark fruits, touch of sugar, light booze, yeast notes, bitter citrics, bread dough, light fruit cake. Fullish body, soft carbonation, light boozey strains at the curtain call. Decent take on a Belgian strong, not too sweet and the alcohol is very well integrated.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, sweetish aroma with a touch of honey, berries, dried apricot. Taste is moderately tart, yeasty, peppery yeasty, some subtle sweetness, unspecific fruitiness that is typical for the style.

Very hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and very slightly viscous with good minerally carbonation. Creamy malt with a touch of peppery spice. Light tinned fruits and floral yeast. Finishes crisp. Comes together well.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours lightly hazy gold with a large, frothy, virginal white head. Lots of doughy pale malts on the nose, white bread, Belgian yeast. Medium to big sweet flavor with plenty more doughy white bread, some sweet citrus, perhaps touches of lemony tang. Medium to full bodied with fine, lightly spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with imptessively little alcohol warmth, more white bread, some lemon merengue, Belgian yeast and sponge cake. A very tasty beer.
