Hazy ruby/brown pour, two finger frothy beige head. Very good retention, long lasting. Lots of lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose has notes of caramel and coffee, a bit liquory with subtle roasty notes. Thin to medium body, average carbonation. Soft texture, pleasant mouthfeel, goes down quite smoothly. Roasty bitter taste with very subtle sweet notes. Aroma of roasted malt, wood and coffee. Herbal notes. Mild cocoa. Slightly sticky. A bit of hop citrus notes in the aftertaste. Finishes dry and bitter. Quite good. Perhaps lacking in body a bit.

Bottle. Color: Black, beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, mocha, coffee. Taste: Moderate to medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, lightly boozy with very nice and pretty intense notes of coffee and mocha, some milk chocolate and hints of creamed milk. Long lasting cocoa bittery fnish. Bit sticky. Creamy mouthfeel, below average carbonation and over medium body. Great beer.

Klar Thema verfehlt!

330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a big thick beige head, good retention. Aroma of coffee, dark malts, chocolate, pine, citrus. Taste of coffee, chocolate, piney and citrus hops, dark malts, bittersweet. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Really good, surprisingly hoppy, could almost say this is a black IPA.
