Dark brown with large beige head. Aroma is hazelnut some syrup a whiff of espresso and dense vanilla. Taste is bitter coffee ground with sweet hazelnut balancing it perfectly. This is actually some coffee that I like.

Bottle from Deconinck. Pours hazy dark brown-black with a lasting, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of prune jam, macadamia, walnut, toast, mocha, coffee bean, raw vanilla, dark toffee. Taste has sweetish prune, toffee & sugared mocha on a thick nutty, sweet-toasty base, bitter coffee bean renders earthy notes in the back. Dry, toasty, herbal hoppy finish, tad peppery, hinting at tobacco even, nice mocha lingering. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Nice and creamy.

[33cl bottle from Beer 52.] A bright chestnut coloured pour with a tight cream coloured head; aroma of chocolate and coffee, just as anticipated; smooth and silky in the mouth with some prickly chocolate malts and bitter coffee; then a little sweetness and creaminess as the lactic acid kicks in and a little alcohol teasing on the finish. A very moreish and drinkable brown ale.

Bottle at Pigalle. Coffee, bit of sweetness, bit of chocolate, very easy drinking, nice. Maybe lacking a spark but still a nice brew.
