This unfiltered IPA is a glowing medium gold, with a hazy appearance reminiscent of a blue–sky day in Juneau, Alaska. Ripe pineapple, fresh tangerine and pine resin abound in the aroma, with a host of other tropical and stone fruit flavors. Juneau Juice is all about bright and succulent hop character. It has a light body, with a full mouthfeel and hint of pine on the back end.

19.2 oz. can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a clear gold color with a very large off-white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Mild hoppy aroma. Mild hops and bitterness too. Not juicy. Tastes more like a hoppy amber ale. Still more bitter than I prefer, but more drinkable than I expected. Medium body and medium carbonation. The 6.8% ABV is very well hidden.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is pine and honey malt. Flavor is a dry caramel malt with a little citrus hops hiding in the back round. This is neither hazy nor juicy. This is a old school west coast IPA and average one at best.

16 ounce draft. Aroma of soft fruit and abundance of malt. Have to be honest here, it’s a malt bomb. I don’t know how often the kegs turn here but this is a popular place. This is massively malt forward. Not what anyone would expect in the style.

Draft. A- Citrus, slightly grassy. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Citrus, mild pine, slightly bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Menu listed this as a DIPA but I agree more with the NEIPA as it wasn't very aggressive and in fact was a touch sweet. Not bad.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Kenny's Meat Wagon Brunch Bash" on 05/27/2018. Slightly hazy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, piney hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, melon, citrus and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Bier:Thirty Light haze on this dull golden pour. Fine smooth lasting off white head rather strong resinous piney aromas and flavors. A little chemically. Smooth body. Some residuals smooth it out. A “double” NEIPA?
