Bottlefrom BC Liquor Store. Black with ruby edges, thin tan head. Unsurprisingly a choc porter aroma. Somewhere between choc milk and dark choc. Some powder, some lactic. Nice choc. Needs more depth and complexity.

Bottle: Poured a black color ale with a medium head with good retention. Aroma of chocolate is subtler the name of the beer would suggest. Taste is drier then expected (I was expecting more sweet chocolate then anything else). Body is about average but lack the creamy texture that would have made this a great beer. Definitely not one of my favourite, I was expecting more from this brewery I guess.

Bottled. Very dark brown. Cocoa aroma. Roasty with rounded mouthfeel and fairly light bodied. Dominated by buttery chocolate flavour. Lightly salty finish with low bitterness.

Black colour. Nutty, very fudgey aroma. Nicely integrated fudgey flavour. Body starts out quite full - feeling of chocolate syrup, but then it fades to an unfortunately thin finish. Flavours of sweet chocolate syrup and porter come together fairly well.
