Cask at CPK, London on 10th September 2010. Amber with a thin white film of foam for a head. Ginger and spice in aroma. Stinging ginger - GREAT! - in-mouth, lime citrus touches complement the gingery kick. Well-crafted, different and rather enjoyable!

Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London. A dark golden coloured pour with a smallish head. Aroma of ginger and malt. Tastes of ginger (obviously), sweet, slight bitterness. Alcoholic ginger beer perhaps? Pleasant enough.

Cask@Marble Arch Inn, Manchester. Clear yellowish gold colour with a lingering mid sized white head. Guess what ? Nose was heavy on the ginger, what a surprise.. Flavour was peppery, spicy, ginger dominated, but there was some fruit and hops lurking too, which rescued it from all out gingerdom.. Dryish finish. I’m not a massive ginger fan, can’t stand Chris Evans, but I did quite enjoy this on the whole. Not something I’d want to drink too much of however.

Served at a fine drinking temperature from gravity cask at Bar Unusuale, GBBF 09. Slightly unclear orange-golden body. The ginger part is rather over the top in aroma and taste. Notes of malts beneath. Spicy bitter endnotes. Different with some pleasing moments, but not easy to drink (Second day at the festival, 05.08.2009).

[RBESG, Sheffield] Cask @ Marble Arch, Manchester. A blond ale with ginger that dominates flavor and aroma. Why I keep drinking these when I’m not that fond of ginger in my beer , is still a mystery :D. The things you do for ratings :D

Cask @ Marble Arch Manchester. the ginger is abundant in both aroma and flavor. Malty sweetish, with some chloride notes. Must be the Manchester water. Ginger dominating the aftertaste, and in fact all other flavors. Not my kind of beer.
