(cask@Catford Bridge Tavern) Hazy gold/light amber in colour with very small to no head or lacing. Aroma is ginger, malt. and taste unsurprisingly is very ginger, slightly spicy, biscuit malt. Not bad, but much prefer Marbles other offerings in comparison (D10)

Cask at Merchants Inn Beer Festival, Rugby - 31/10/12. Hazy pale golden with a thin off white head. Ginger up front on the nose, root ginger, spice, toffee and a little caramel malt. Tastes of ginger nut biscuits, toffee, root ginger. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky toffee finish. One of the better ginger beers I’ve had.

Cask at GBBF. Slightly hazy gold beer. Crispy dry palate. Fresh fresh ginger! Quickly builds in heat but maintains it’s freshness. Nice!

[Cask at Chippenham BF] Golden amber colour. Aroma and flavour chock full of zingy fresh root ginger. There’s enough rich sweet malt behind it to soften the ginger and make it more well-balanced and easier to drink than most ginger beers. It’s still all about the ginger though, a one-dimensional beer but none the worse for it.- really enjoyed this! c5

Cask, 4.5%. Weak ginger aroma, hint of urine as is common with ginger. Almost clear dark amber colour, almost no head. The flavour has some ginger with a mild bite. Well-balanced. Also a bit of roasted notes.

(Cask at Gallows Real Ale Festival 2011) The beer poured golden, clear and without a head. Aroma contained clearly ginger with malty background. Palate was medium bodied with mildly burning feeling. Flavours were ginger, malts, hops, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste had ginger and bitterness. Not a bad beer with ginger but these aren’t my things.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Lightly hazy gold pour. Sharp ginger ale aroma. Nice flavor, with some spicy malts and lightly stinging ginger notes. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Finishes with plenty of tingly, lingering ginger. Some malts, little bitterness. If you like your ginger you will like this.
