Cask@GBBF2008. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is huge ginger with some cinnamon in it too. Flavour is ginger, wood, some vanilla and a bit of grassyness in the finish. Wellbalanced, refreshing and very gingery all the way through.

Cask (GBBF 2008) - Hazy amber in colour. Ginger aroma with some herbs. Tangy and spicy ginger taste with a peppery kick and some dried fruits. Very tasty and the ginger is strong but not overwhelming.

Cask at The Marble Arch Inn Manchester 19-01-08 Waheyy this is all about the ginger and it takes no prisoners. The root ginger is quite superb and that tell tale burn that you get from it really makes this one of the best Ginger’s that I’ve tasted, almost like licking some raw root ginger. Ok so this is a bit of a one trick pony but a pony that can perform like this is one that’ll I’d pay money for. Loved it

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 11/12/07. Pale orange colour with a slight white head. This was like a ginger ale with alcohol. Very easy drinking with a slightly dry finish. Pleasant drinking but not a session beer.

(Cask at Marble Arch, Manchester, 27 July) Colour is copper/orange with a firm white head, slightly hazy (no finings). Nose is fruity with a dominant ginger aroma and notes of citrus (orange). Taste is fruity with notes of orange and apricots and loads of ginger in the finish. Starts sweet but turns drier towards the finish. It has a seriously spicy/hot bite of ginger. Interesting.

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2006. Slightly hazy gold colour with no head. Strong ginger biscuit aroma. Very herby ginger in mouoth, some juicy malt, but finish had harsh spicey stem ginger flavour. Not balanced, but the intensity of the ginger is interesting
