High Socks – 100% Mosaic IPA is another one of our single hopped NE style hazy IPAs. This time we used Mosaic, one of our favourite hops. You’ll get big notes of Pineapple and candied tropical fruit followed by some slight resinous, dank flavours. We kept the body big to hold up to the huge flavours of the Mosaic hop and for a beer that clocks in at 7% ABV, it is incredibly crushable.

Milky yellow body and little foam, sweet juicy hops on the nose. Flavour is chewy juicy hops, heavy sugar. Medium finish. Okay heavy IPA but it doesn't stand out.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of muddled oranges and mangos, dank hops and grapefruit. Flavors follow same with additional earthy tropical fruit.

Cloudy, pale, thin head. Aroma is kind of faint for a single hop cloudy mosaic. Light bitterness, nice white grape, peach, tangerine hop note. Pale malts hold it up well, yeast is unobtrusive. One of the tidier, more professional IPAs from TS.

Murky blond colour. Strong juicy aroma and flavour, sweet oranges, tropical, touch of passion fruit; appreciated malt base, not being chalky. Very light dank aroma.
Excellent and fresh.

Cloudy dark blond color. Nice aroma, resiny hops, a bit musky, nettles, orange zest, light pineapple. Good body structure, the mouthfeel is floury, dirty, it's moderately sweet, it has zesty and juicy hops.
Nice but filthy.

2017-06-16, can from Denman Liquor Store, canned 29/05/2017, 8-3-7-4-16=38
Murky orange color, the aroma is pungent, tropical fruit. Like drinking orange juice and tropical fruit juice, a bit of zest, and relatively low bitterness.
Great batch. The flavor is well round.

Cloudy orange-blonde. Same nice aroma, but less chalky flavor than 2 weeks ago, leaving some room to nice grapes fruitiness too (riesling and fox grapes).

2017-03-08, can, 8-3-7-2-15=35
Cloudy, murky blond color, small head. Nice aroma, pungent hops, a bit musky, boldly citrusy, great Mosaic. Muddled flavor, chalky, the malt profile is lame, the hop is like drinking watered orange juice, and the final is short.
Please stop this East Coast IPA nonsense.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very pithy, with lots of stone fruits, some dankness and tropical fruity hoppiness. Flavour is fresh and fruity, with lots of tropical stone fruits, a bit of a jumbled citrusy and piney hop character, and with a fairly sweet malt backing. Sweet and fruity finish. Not along my favourite of the Twin Sails IPAs, but it's very nice still.
