Medium brown and cloudy, sweet, cocoa, and this is on both nose and palate. Good porter.

At the brewpub, this was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a brown to almost black color with a slim bar pour’s kind of head.
The smell had some light caramel malts roasted and a light roasted coffee and chocolate side note.
The taste was mainly roasty and somewhat malty.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium, more so closer to the light side. It actually seemed barely carbonated - uh...too smooth to be true? Hmmm....interesting.
Overall, okay porter, its nothing special, but could be either borderline construed a brown ale or maybe even a hybrid, still do-able.
