6.5/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 8 Overall 6
The aromas are slightly old resin hops and some caramel malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, bittersweet with decent carbonation and full body. Not too balanced. A one and done.

Can from jcwattsrugger, Thanks. Slightly hazy deep golden orange with a small frothy white head. Citrus caramel and orange peel make up most of the aroma. Flavor adds some earth and grass, but I wish it added some hop bitterness. Feels like a mid 1990’s pale ale.

A: Clear light gold, with a vigorous pour, 2 finger head, gives way slowly. Good lacing.

S: Very grassy smell, some pine, bits of bread.

T: Grass, grapefruit, mild bread, pretty darned bitter overall.

M: Medium body and carbonation. The finish is really bitter and not all that attractive.

O: To say solid would be stretching it for me. Decent would be a better discriptor.

Pale orange with a white head. Fruity, malt, a bit of pine. Something just seems off with this beer. Tastes like mediocre homebrew. Not good.

12oz can. Filtered orange-tan body. Creamy, steady off-white head. Rich, full bodied. Pretty big beer at 7.1%. Lets the malt shine. There is some classic NW bitterness, resinous, piny hop action, a hint of melon. A decent enough IPA.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Beer Crazy in Urbandale, Iowa. The pour is clear golden with a bunch of fine carbonation bubbles and a frothy one inch white head that falls fast. The aroma is sweaty earth, weird cereal sweet and not much else. The taste is pine sharp bitter, grass, some grapefruit peel citrus and then an odd herbal medicinal taste. Improves a bit as it warms. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation and a dry bitter earth off taste in the long finish. Extra point for the Paul Cebar reference on the name and the mention on the can. That would be weird even for a Milwaukee brewery.
