22 oz bottle carried home from the brewery by Stacey. Bottled 7-25-16. Deep brown / black color. The aroma is bourbon soaked raisins, mild fig, chocolate, and a deep earthy note. The flavor runs just as deep as the aroma. Bourbon soaked raisin, figs, dark fruits, deep malty body. Even after 2 years of sitting, it still shows some booze. (As expected). It has deep rich flavor. Intense brew!

Bottle, to go from midnight sun. Pours deep mahogany, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is rich dark fruits, bourbon, vanilla, cherries, cocoa, toffee. Flavor is fully sweet, light plus bitter. HOTD reminiscent barrel notes, super well integrated. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Rich and decadent. Well hidden abv. Solidly crafted beer.

Bottle at the tasting. This one was awesome. Pours a dark copper brown color with a medium tan head. A huge fruity malty nose. Big sweet dark fruit, berries, ashy, dark almost roasty notes, molasses, this straddles a stout and barley wine. And it is very dam good.
