Very dark brown, thick head. Has a fairly roasty malt profile with leafy hop. Solid, good body, nice bitterness, has a lot of dark sugar sweetness. Very good big American porter.

Bottle from Beer Republic. Bottled: 11/2019. Hazy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of coffee roast, cream, fondant, toast, brown bread, tobacco. Taste has restrained sweetish prune in a brown-bready, wholemeal-like, toasty, bit nutty malt body, earthy undertone. Ends with herbal hops, cold coffee and fondant powder, quite dry, nicely bitter. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Rounded Porter, just plain good.

Das ist ein richtig schönes, rohes, kerniges Schoko-Kaffee-Porter. Toll wie es mittig an Rauchigkeit zunimmt. Langer Abgang, sehr lecker.

Huge, thick and dense tan-beige head, very regular, over rusty/russet-shot black beer; lacerings. Coffee, coffeecream, mocha, chocolate, capsicum; obviously very roasted, roasted chocolatecookies. Bitterish-sweet, very roasted if in a mellow way. Not that much coffee really. Breadcrust from health-grains bread. Well-bodied, bit slick, not thick. Medium carbonation. Nothing excessive, nowhere over the top, balanced, tasty - I like this!
Teveel drop, te weinig koffie. Z’n geld niet waard.

650ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of chocolate, coffee, cocoa, herbal-grassy and minimally fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of tobacco and pear, some liquorice. Taste is roasty dark malty, hints of chocolate, coffee, cocoa, a touch of liquorice, minimally fruity and herbal-grassy hoppy overtones with a touch of tobacco and pear, subtle sweetness. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky palate.

Bottle. Very dark reddish brown with a light tan head that lasts well. Aroma of gentle roast, earth, nut meal, grass, creamy mocha. 7+ Medium bodied, creamy, lowish carbonation. Firm roasted and grassy/spicy bitter flavours emerge almost reluctantly from rich but not all that sweet chocolatey malt. There's a casual roughness to the finish I like. This is very good indeed.

Black with a tall tan head. Coffee notes, cocoa, light earthy hops. Finish is bittersweet chocolate and dry. Medium bodied. A sharp, tasty porter.

On tap at Drake's Barrel Room, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and some oaty heartiness. Flavour is very heart and robust, with lots of toasted malt, oats and lovely roasted barley. About everything I could want in a porter. Excellent.

Rocky beige head quickly left a cover on a still, dark brown body. Chocolate, spice, hints of coffee & bitter fruit aroma. Medium bodied, so smooth. Bitter dark fruits, dark chocolate, spice & dark fruit tastes. Excellent.
