Bottle at home in NH, shared with Charlie (he loved this one). ABV at 5.7%. Pours clearish gold with a foamy, white head. Nose of grass, toast, bread, earth, some caramel. Medium sweet flavor with leafy pine, toast, light caramel. Modestly bitter overall. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Medium bitter finish, notes of bread, toast, slight cake, faint oily and resinous hops, pine, and very mild citrus. A very easy drinking IPA. Enjoyable.

Nice slightly hazy amber coloured body with a copper glow and a non-existant head. Aroma of fresh hops, light malt and a touch of sweetness from apricots. Medium-bodied; Viscous taste with NO carbonation at all, a very still mouthful and a fresh hoppy flavour at first with some grassy notes and a dose of malt. Aftertaste shows some fresh hop bitterness and a touch of the sweetness, but mostly dry and non-carbonated malt. Overall, a decent IPA - showing the hops as expected, but the complexity doesn’t exist and the lack of carbonation is definitely noticeable in a bad way. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased earlier today at Colonial Spirits in Acton, Massachusetts sampled on 23-September-2010 at a hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.

Orange-golden beer, hazy with a small white head, fleeting. Aroma of American hops and caramel, some astringency. Flavor is dominantly hoppy, quite dry on the finish, with a medium body, some paperiness as it finishes and a bit of fruitiness in there. I’d like some more sweet malt.
