Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is foresty, pine needles, moss, bark, caramel malts, leafs, hops, grass, alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet concentrated grassy, old leafs, soil, bark, pine needles, caramel malts, hops, grass, alcohol, weeds. Longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Gyldengul. Veldig høyt kritthvitt luftig skum. Litt lacing. Varer. Lettskyet. Kjempegod fruktig aroma. Plommer & fersken. Smaken ananas & plommer. Litt tørr etter hvert. Balansert.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a creamy finger thick off white head. Aroma is hoppy with bitter with citrusy orange peel, and grapefruit, spruce, blackcurrant and elderberries, and some tropical whiffs, as well as a nice malty back with mango and apricots. Full creamy body with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter with pine and resin, lemon peel and grapefruit, as well as some malty toffee, honey and some butterscotch. Lingering citrusy bitter finish with orange peel, lemon and grapefruit.

Tap at the Mikkeller Bar, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium to light amber with a super thin whispy head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is strong bitter with a big alcoholic resin spice hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The hop bucket really fell into this brew. Well controlled alcohol and nice and smooth. Lots of flavour and nothing dominates.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, orangey amber. Film of white head. Thick, banana toffee sweetness. Greasy, hoppy, chewy, herbal and a bit mucky. Love DIPA beers like this. Obviously this is nothing like it could be fresh, but still liked this a lot. Marked it down due to the topdollarishness.

500ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, deep golden colour with firm, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Room-filling, resinous hop aroma, sweaty, citrusy fruit notes are concentrated to a honey-like aggregate, lemongrass overtones. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, concentrated bitterness, resin, citrus, a touch of orange zest. Too dense, narrow, hop concentration and intensity at the expense of breadth and variety of flavours.

Bottle @ ZZT 9 thanks to Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange color, decently sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, some pine. It’s so much better than I am describing. Really worth a taste. Lovely.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 10.09.2014
Aroma is hoppy, sweet and heavy with exotic fruits and caramel. Also resiny tones and hints of vanilla. Palate is oily and low on CO2. Flavour is sweetish with resiny malt, caramel and fruity hops. Also some pineapples. Finishes with some lingering hops. Very American.
