On Tap at the Bellingham BP Slightly hazy dingy yellow color. Thin wispy white head Pale soft light grain aroma. Clean dry and fairly sharp flavors. Some character and bite for a Blonde. Less common for the style I think but good and a bit different

On tap at Ray’s. Pours a clear yellow with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grains and straw with a slight floral note underlying. Flavor has bread and grains throughout with a light floral note in the finish.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy blond color; small creamy head. Light malt aroma and flavor; it’s also a bit buttery (diacetyl); light fruitiness and average bitterness.
It’s a simple Ale with minor flaws.

Draft - Grain, hay and citrus/pineapple on the nose. Cloudy yellow with minimal head. Refreshing and light with a celery and resin hop taste with the hay. A light yeast flavour can also be found. Nice on a hot day if you are looking for something light.

6 oz. sample on tap at the brewpub, pours a cloudy blond with a small white head. Aroma is very light, with grains, light Belgian yeast, subtle dry zesty qualities. Flavour is yeasty and spicy, with bready malts, quite spicy hops and some yeast. Decent for the style, but expectedly bland.

Hazy straw colour. The aroma is strawlike with a hint of citric hop. Light lemony/tangerine flavour with hints of fresh crunchy pale malt and light bitterness. Off-dry finish. Typical of Washington State golden ales - an actual gateway beer instead of a macro clone.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of apricot and avocado(!?). Sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Notes of syrup before a lightly spicy finish.
