4oz pour at Max's Belgian Fest is a rootbeer brown, thin white head. Nose is muddled, chewy malts, some candy, some yeast, nail polish, dates. Flavor has more and is better, malt, bread, raisin, date, some Brett, some grappa. Finishes thick, sweet and spicy. 4oz sample was enough. 6 3 7 2 12

hazy brown colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of vanilla, toffee, dried sour cherry and some dark chocolate (or rather sour cherry bonbon made with dark chocolate); taste is quite similar to the aroma; quite good one!

0.75l bottle thanks to Lore. Hazy brown body with a thin yolk head. Sour cherry comes first in the aroma followed by orange zest, oak, nutmeg and burnt sugar. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma with much less sour cherry. Sweet and smooth. Nice one.

Poured from the tap. Clear copper brown with small beige head. Caramel malt, dark dried fruit, some softness coming from the chardonnay, but it doesn’t really mesh well.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Brownish-red, murky body, some off-white head. Apple esters are strong with this one in the aroma, peach notes, maltiness, mint, lovely and ocmplex. The taste is less enticing. Lean, minty notes, oxidized maltiness, peachy notes, jammy notes, raisins. Sweet and fresh suddenly going astringent around the edges in the finish, kinda lowering the initial excitement. Don't see that many strong barrel notes, but the beer is really specific and interesting.

Many thanks for this beer to all Team of Belbiere. As a Gift. Vintage 2018 chardonnay barrel aged.

Clear red brown beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty malty, bit oxidized, some caramel, dried fruits, raisins and figs. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: oxidized start, pretty bitter, dusty, soft roast, some caramel notes, some alcohol, dried fruits. Aftertaste: pretty oxidized, malty, caramel touch, dried fruits, bitter hops, soft roast, quite some alcohol, bitter finish, nice one!

Buena densidad. Bastante buena para repetir.

750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours moderately dark brown with a creamish beige head. Aroma of tart white grape and slightly musty wood. Beer? Med body at least. Flavor is not very tart white grape and slightly musty wood, but now there's nice mildly roasty malt with an underlying peat/smoky note. Not really dry. Not really bitter. Just tastes good.
