Dry-hopped hobby brew commercialized for the Waterhuis aan de Bierkant in Ghent. Irregular, quite stable head, golden blonde to ochre colour, hazy. Fruity aroma with some diacetyl (buttermilk), some DMS (cooked cabbage) and clear green, herbal hops. Fruity and sweetish onset, evolving into an oily and resinous, green, long, aromatic hop bitterness. Interesting interpretation of the new hop wave among Belgian beers.

Small draft sample @ Het Waterhuis aan de Bierkant in Gent. Hazy golden with a white head. Nose is citrus, white sugar sweet, sweet BE yeast & faint herbs. Taste is very sweet, white sugar, sweet BE yeast, citrus, sweet white bread, thick caramel, flowers, only very faintly bitter in the back. Thick BE yeast body. Overall a pretty big disappointment for me because when I see a score of 92/100 & read the words Dry Hopping, I don’t expect another overly sweet BE beer (only an okay one in that category). Where are my hops bro?

Nice hops showcase for this beer. Pours blonde with ok head and lacing. Some fruitiness and a little sweet malt leaves tang at finish. Average carbonation. On tap at Novare Res.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel and resin aromas. Dry with sweet caramel and yeast upfront turning to mild resin in the lasting finish.

Aroma: Malt, fruit, citrus.
Body: A bit thin bodied with a medium carbonation.
